Jake Staley currently serves as A Public Fit’s Associate Artistic Director. He began his theatrical career in Wyoming playing Gandalf in Cheyenne Little Theatre Player’s 1997 production of The Hobbit. After acting in dozens of productions for CLTP, he earned his BFA in theater & dance from the University of Wyoming. Immediately after graduating, he relocated to Sarasota, Florida, to acquire his MFA from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Since moving to Las Vegas, Jake has been working, acting, and directing at various institutions across the city. Previous credits at APF include Appropriate, The Elephant Man, Closer, August: Osage County, Cry It Out, Gloria, and Things I Know to Be True.
