June and her pet goat Weezy are the only survivors of a devastating tornado. A visiting photographer plans to photograph June, hoping to illuminate the tragedy she’s endured. Through the intimacy of the camera, the two discover a shared history of pain and loss and begin the long process of recovery during their short time together.
