Sabrina Cofield is an Afro-Latina actress, host, singer and filmmaker. She spends most of her time in front of the camera, so she is absolutely thrilled to be back on stage with A Public Fit Theatre Company. Several of Sabrina’s most recent television & film projects include: Marshals (CBS), One Big Happy Family (Fall 2024), The Holiday Stocking (Hallmark Channel), Christmas Wreaths and Ribbons (Apple TV), and Recipe For Love (Prime Video).
Born in Albuquerque, NM, Sabrina began performing as a child singing in church, starring in school plays, and appearing in local commercials. A proud HBCU alum, she graduated with a degree in journalism and went on to pursue a career in television news. She spent nearly ten years as a producer, writer, show runner, reporter, and anchor, earning a Television Emmy Award before leaving the news business to focus on her acting career.
Sabrina can also be seen in dozens of regional and national commercials, but her first love has always been the stage. Some of her favorite roles to date include: Nina (The Royale), Titana (A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Concert Fantastic), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), and Nya (Pipeline). Sabrina sits on the boards of The Nevada Shakespeare Theatre Company and The LabLV Theatre Company, and is the founder of Blk Butterfly Media Group.
