James Claflin

James Claflin received his BA in theatre/cinematic arts (acting emphasis) from BYU. He pursued a MA/PhD in theatre directing at the University of Kansas before opting for law school. Now a local trial attorney (family law), James has professional acting credits on stage and screen. Having played roles in professional and community stage productions here in Las Vegas at Super Summer Theatre, Las Vegas Little Theatre, and Signature Productions, James makes his debut with A Public Fit Theatre Company in The Lifespan of a Fact. Other local stage credits include Something Rotten! (Brother Jeremiah), You Can’t Take It With You (Paul Sycamore), Annie (Warbucks), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Senex); Scarlet Pimpernel (Sir Ozzy); Oliver! (Bill Sikes); Guys & Dolls (Nathan Detroit); Camelot (King Arthur), and Mary Poppins (George Banks). Love and thanks to Kat for her loving support and to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson for patiently awaiting their daily treats.
