Under a tree at the crossroads, two tramps wait endlessly for the arrival of a mysterious personage in Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece of modern Absurdist theatre. Waiting for Godot blends comedy, philosophy, existential inquiry and vaudevillian buffoonery to create a legendary theatrical experience. Hailed as one of the most influential plays of the twentieth century, Waiting for Godot is both deceptively simple and profoundly expansive, challenging audiences to contemplate meaning, hope, and the very nature of our raison d’être.
