Valerie Carpenter Bernstein

Valerie Carpenter Bernstein was raised in Oklahoma and, as a young adult, moved to LA and began working in television and film. A few of her LA roles provided work on: General Hospital, The LotteryOne Shoe Makes It Murder, and the film The Patty Hearst Story. Upon moving to Las Vegas, she took to the stage in productions of DoubtDeath of A SalesmanThe Glass MenagerieWho’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Wolves (Las Vegas Valley Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor), On Golden Pond, and Angry F*gs. Valerie appeared previously with A Public Fit in August: Osage County (both the production and staged reading), Small Mouth Sounds (Best Ensemble), When the Rain Stops Falling, and The Year of Magical Thinking. She is most proud of her satellites, Sabrina and Wil, and thanks her husband, Richard, for living with living with all the varied characters she’s played over the years.
