Jake Staley is thrilled to continue his collaboration with A Public Fit through acting, directing, and serving as Associate Artistic Director. Jake began his theatrical career in Wyoming playing Gandalf in Cheyenne Little Theatre Player’s (CLTP) 1997 production of The Hobbit. After acting in dozens of productions for CLTP, he earned his BFA in theater & dance from the University of Wyoming. Immediately after graduating, he relocated to Sarasota, Florida, to acquire his MFA from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Since moving to Las Vegas, Jake has been working, acting, and directing at various institutions across the city. His previous APf acting credits include The Minutes, Indecent, An Oak Tree, Three Days of Rain, Things I Know to Be True, Appropriate, The Elephant Man, Closer, Cry It Out, and August: Osage County. His APf directing credits include Ironbound, True West, X, Brilliant Adventures, and Gloria. He would like to thank his friends, family, and wife, Breon, for their continued love and support.
