
José Anthony is an alumnus of the School of Hard Knocks. He made his theatrical debut with Rainbow Company Youth Theatre in The Ghost of the River House and has been featured in national commercials with IHOP, BIG O Tires, and McDonalds as well as supporting roles in films like Clarity (2015), Animal Justice (2024), and Desert Dawn (2025). José Anthony wrote and performed in a one-man-show, toño, which won the LVLT Fringe Festival “Best of” in 2019 and recently wrote and directed his first short film, SESSION, which received the “Audience Favorite” award at this year’s NWFF. José Anthony’s life motto is, “I’d rather do something I love and fail, than to succeed at something I hate.” He is very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of five past APf productions: Ironbound, References to Salvador Dalí Make Me Hot, An Oak Tree, Lydia, and The Ghosts of Lote Bravo. @el_jose_anthony
