COMPELLING STORIES. CONTINUING CONVERSATION.

We couldn’t be more proud of Season 12:  What the Constitution Means to Me (Heidi Shreck) touched hearts and minds and expanded our continuing partnership with the Library District.  Eurydice (Sarah Ruhl) created a mesmerizing world of myth and pathos while our new partnership with the Nevada Conservatory Theatre created the familiar (if slightly uncomfortable!) world of Passage (Christopher Chen). Our Script-in-Hand Series – Ironbound (Martyna Majok), Mother Road (Octavio Solis), The Apiary (Kate Douglas), The Effect (Lucy Prebble) – offered FREE TO ATTEND theatre to well over a thousand Las Vegans, engaged by compelling stories and the dynamic conversations that followed.

 

Now we are 13.  And as we become teenagers at last, our unruly drive to ensure that those conversations continue and thrive only grows stronger and more resolute!  We’ve aged from a handful of friends sitting around a library table to a company staff of 16; we’ve employed scores of theatre professionals – actors, designers, painters, technical craftsmen, and stage managers; we’ve imported designers from Chicago, Los Angeles and Texas, flown in actors from New York, California, Arizona and Florida; we’ve expanded our internship program, created educational outreach, and formed community partnerships that have lasted for years.  And through it all, we remain most excited about the conversations surrounding these great stories – the ones we’ve had, and the ones yet to come!  We hope you’ll join us!
